VOICE LESSONS
Drawing from
her many years of traditional voice training, her rich performance background,
along with her spiritual studies, and inner work, Jennifer created a method
of teaching voice that she calls, "True Voice". This method is all about
opening and awakening one's true vocal expression. This work blends traditional
vocal techniques with spiritual grounding and awareness to help the authentic
voice to flow freely. Understanding that the voice truly is an expression
of the soul, emphasis is put on releasing limiting beliefs that constrict
the natural voice. Students are led through relaxation exercises, as well
as visualization and breathing techniques to open up to the Divine flow
moving through their being, and expressing itself as voice. Once grounded
and relaxed, Jennifer guides students through vocalizing exercises, all
with the intent of opening, expanding, and strengthening the voice. Her
students will work on singing songs that allow them to step more fully
into their power and courage in expressing their voice out to others.
Most of the songs she uses are from musical theatre, pop/jazz, or folk.
"Jennifer's teaching
style is enabling my daughter not only to train her voice, but to find
it- and that is teaching for life...priceless."

For
students that feel called to write and sing their own songs, Jennifer
guides them lovingly through the process of creating and expressing
their own music. Every three months Jennifer holds musical sharing
events (aka "recitals") for her students to share their
voices with friends and family.
These
lessons are fun, joyful , and non-threatening. They are open to
all levels and ages, although Jennifer specializes in teaching
to young people, ages 9-19

"Jennifer Bloomer
is a special voice instructor who has a talent for working with
young people. She knows how to make her students feel comfortable,
while challenging them to develop their gift. Her love of music
and her students is obvious; her skill as an instructor immediately
apparent. Her pure energy and positive approach help her students
learn proper technique and establish a solid vocal foundation.
I'm thankful that our daugher, Bridget, has had the opportunity
to work with someone so experienced and caring."
